Letting go

14 Apr

img_0370Preparing to go away on an adventure is both exciting and terrifying, particularly as the time for departure gets nearer.  New opportunities, experiences, people and places are ahead.  But it also means leaving behind cherished family, friends & colleagues; routines and possessions, at least for a while.

One of the most difficult separations will be from our two faithful middle-aged cats, Rodney & Bonkers.  As yet, we have not found a home for them.  And, as it would not be fair on them them to move them to a floating home, a new abode is a must.  In the absence of anything permanent, they will be fostered by the local Cats Protection League co-ordinator where they will at least be able to stay together.

But for now anyway, they just breeze around the place as they’ve always done, not a care in the world as long as they’re warm and fed…ignorance is bliss 😦
